Teaching Assistant

Step Teachers and a Brent-based Jewish school are collaborating to find a dedicated and passionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school have been consistently rated 'Good' by ofsted, the Teaching Assistant to join the team will need to uphold these standards and work with the school on their journey to become outstanding!

Teaching Assistant Role:

• Supporting children's social, emotional, and intellectual development through interactive play and learning experiences
• Providing individualised attention and support to children with varying needs and abilities
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements
• As a Teaching Assistant, you must foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged students as a Teaching Assistant is essential
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A relevant qualification in childcare is desirable
• Experience working in a Jewish school is highly desirable
