We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the performance, growth, and operational excellence of a portfolio of Greggs stores across the North of the UK and Scotland.

About the Role:

As Operations Manager - North, you'll oversee a portfolio of Greggs stores (a mix of standalone and forecourt-based sites), ensuring each location delivers a first-class customer experience, meets financial and operational targets, and upholds the high brand standards that Greggs is known for.

You'll play a key role in supporting and developing Area Managers, driving performance, and ensuring continued success across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Area Managers and site operators across multiple locations

*

Ensure operational excellence and compliance with brand, food safety, and health standards

*

Drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction throughout the region

*

Analyse KPIs and use data to take decisive action to improve performance

*

Support with new store openings, refits, and refurbishments

*

Work collaboratively with central teams on financial performance and store development initiatives

What We're Looking For:

*

Proven experience in regional or multi-site retail/hospitality management (ideally QSR or food-to-go)

*

Strong leadership qualities and a passion for developing high-performing teams

*

Commercially focused with a hands-on, data-driven mindset

*

Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification (minimum)

*

At least 2 years in a managerial role within QSR or similar environment

*

High standards and a customer-first approach

*

Flexible, resilient, and willing to travel regularly across the region

*

Full UK driving licence
