A well-established Independent Financial Advice firm near Fleet is looking to hire a Paraplanner to join its friendly and collaborative team. The business supports around 600 clients with portfolio values typically ranging from £500k to £2m and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, long-term financial advice.

You’ll be working closely with a team of Advisers, alongside Paraplanners and Administrators, in a supportive and welcoming office environment. The role will involve preparing suitability reports, carrying out technical research, supporting client reviews, and assisting with the development of tailored financial planning strategies across pensions, investments, and protection.

The Role

• Prepare high-quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations
• Work closely with Advisers to develop tailored client solutions
• Assist with client reviews, portfolio analysis, and recommendations
• Support more complex cases including retirement planning and tax-efficient strategies
• Ensure all work is compliant with regulatory standards

About You

• Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards it
• Experience within a paraplanning or technical support role in an IFA/wealth management firm
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
• Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

The firm is open to candidates who are Diploma qualified or working towards it, and would consider both experienced career paraplanners and those with aspirations to become advisers in the future. Experience with Intelligent Office or familiarity with 7IM would be beneficial but is not essential.
