Due to internal promotion, this financial accountancy role offers a great permanent career opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accountant with experience.

The ideal financial accountant will have the following skills and experiences:

• Accountancy qualifications: ACCA or CIMA, fully qualified accountant or part qualified accountant with good financial accounting experience
• Strong Excel experience, numeracy and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• SAP systems experience is desirable, good experience in any accountancy software is essential
• Accountancy experience ideally with fixed assets (worked in companies that sell actual products, eg engineering, manufacturing or similar)
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and interpersonal with good time management skills

Joining the busy accounts team, this accountant role will be responsible daily for ;

• Debtors/Creditors Analysis
• P&L Margin Analysis
• Audit and Statutory accounts preparation
• Foreign Currency
• Bank Reconciliation
• Fixed Assets
• Stock Oversight
• Department performance
• VAT data updated and month end close
