Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be responsible for:- Overseeing complex large corporate tax engagements and providing strategic advice on tax planning and compliance
- Managing key client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of tax professionals, supporting their development and performance
- Driving business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth
- Ensuring technical excellence and up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes within the team
- Reviewing and preparing final tax packs and transmittal letters for high-risk clients
- Championing efficiency and embracing new technologies and ways of working
What you will need:- Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice (e.g. Corporate Tax Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax, with a track record of managing complex tax advisory and compliance projects
- A professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, or CA
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive approach to business development and a keen eye for growth opportunities
