Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker - Make a Real Difference!

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Watton Under Edge, Gloucestershire.

Pay: £15.00 per hour weekdays, £16.00 Saturdays per hour & £16.50 per hour Sundays

Hours: Bank (covering shifts that come up due to annual leave, sickness or any other reasons)

About the Role

You'll be supporting a gentleman in his 60's who has an acquired brain injury, there are no clinical needs as the client is extremely capable, however he does have a diagnosis of epilepsy and very mild mobility issues. We're looking for someone with experience in support work and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

He lives in his own home, enjoys fishing and car shows. He has a bubbly personality and positive outlook on life. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.

What We're Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we're seeking a support worker with:

• A genuine passion for care and making a difference
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
• Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You'll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

Key Responsibilities

• As a support worker, you will:
• Assist with personalised routines, including use of hoists
• Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
