Here at Howells we are working with a Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Contractor to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team in South East London leading on a portfolio of predominantly Planned Works contracts. The suitable candidate will act as Operational Lead, whilst assisting with strategic growth within the region, moving towards a Regional Operations Manager position.

This role is based in South East London, however travel across the South East region is to be expected.

As the Operations Manager, you will directly manage a team of Project Managers, Site Managers, RLO's, and Customer Service/Planning/Admin team to deliver Social Housing Works. We are looking for somebody who has experience working alongside local authorities and housing associations delivering and managing multiple programmes.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of your business region, commercial and contractual performance, and client satisfaction.

Skills & Experience required:

Social Housing experience, particularly planned works and refurbishments
Client liaison and relationship building
Extensive people management experience
Knowledge of Schedule of rates
IT skills
Ability to work under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines in a client facing role
