Salary: £35000 - £40000/annum company vehicle, pension

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a Power Tool Service Engineer to join an international, industry leading company.

The successful candidate will be required to work across the UK on a number of highly prestigious sites within the Automotive, F1 and Aerospace sectors. You will provide electrical and mechanical repair/ services alongside calibration, fault finding and on-site support for a range of industrial power tools, with a focus on bolting, material handling, and fastening solutions such as wrenches, drills, torque guns, precision tooling, and associated products.

This is a mobile position, based primarily at the workshop near Preston, however a willingness to travel across the UK is when required.

Candidates will have a background working within an industrial engineering environment with experience working on electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering products with the willingness to learn a new product.

Hours - Mon - Thurs 8-5/ Fri 8-4

Role Description

* Perform routine maintenance and repair on industrial power tools, predominantly bolting, material handling and fastening solutions including wrenches, drills, torque guns, fasteners, precision tooling and associated tooling products.

* Troubleshoot and diagnose power tool malfunctions, offering effective repair solutions.

* Calibration, commissioning and on-site support for bolting solutions and fastening systems.

* Maintain service records and report on power tool performance and repairs.

* Liaise with various engineering departments.

Qualifications/ Experience

* Demonstrable experience as a Service Technician / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer working within an industrial environment

* Time Served/ Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant Mechanical / Electrical discipline

* Knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, basic Electrical/ Electronic systems

* Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills for power tool repairs and maintenance is a plus.

* Full clean UK driving licence
