CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator - 6669

Location: Worcester

Hours: Double Day Shift

Salary: Up to £41,000 including shift allowance

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator

* Setting and operating Studer cylindrical/universal grinding machines.

* Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts.

* Understanding Fanuc CNC controls with the ability to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.

* Working within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines.

* Contributing to a positive workplace culture through health & safety improvements and kaizen initiatives.

Key Skills of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator

Essential:

* Solid understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding.

* Experience operating and setting CNC controls safely.

* Positive, can-do attitude.

* Previous experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Desirable:

* Ability to program from drawing using Fanuc CNC controls.

* CNC grinding knowledge.

* Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
