Our Beaconsfield store offers a welcoming consultation space where clients can browse fabrics, discuss bespoke tailoring, and receive expert craftsmanship in a relaxed environment. We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering luxury retail experiences, building high-performing teams and driving store success.
Role OverviewAs a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of 4 internal salespeople at the Beaconsfield store, leading all aspects of store operations, team performance, customer experience, and sales growth. You will act as the ambassador of the brand on the ground and ensure consistent high standards across service, presentation and commercial performance.Ideally, you will have previously worked within Menswear/Womenswear and/or within a luxury/premium retail or hospitality environment where you have developed the necessary skills to offer a level of service that meets our Client's high expectations.Our culture is dynamic and customer-focused, and our teams are driven to succeed and go the extra mile in order to exceed our client's expectations.
Key Responsibilities - Lead, motivate and develop the store team of 4 internal sales staff: setting clear objectives, providing coaching, driving performance and ensuring a culture of excellence.
- Manage all day-to-day store operations: opening/closing procedures, stock management, visual merchandising, health & safety, store cleanliness and upkeep.
- Deliver exceptional customer service: ensure every client receives a premium experience—from initial consultation through fittings to final collection.
- Drive sales and profitability: set and meet sales targets, monitor performance metrics, implement action plans for improvement and control costs.
- Stock and inventory management: forecast demand, monitor stock levels, ensure the right fabric selections and tailoring options are available, liaise with head-office for replenishment.
- Visual merchandising & presentation: maintain a luxury retail environment that reflects the brand’s positioning; ensure fitting rooms and consultation areas are exemplary.
- Local marketing & community engagement: build relationships locally, leverage Beaconsfield town location (near station, parking etc) to attract footfall; work with head-office marketing team on campaigns.
- Reporting & administration: produce weekly/monthly reports, analyse sales trends, staffing costs and store performance; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and brand standards.
Requirements & Skills - Proven experience as a Store Manager in luxury retail, fashion, tailoring or premium services.
- Strong commercial acumen and track record of driving sales and profitability.
- Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills – ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Outstanding customer-service orientation – able to deliver a consistently elevated client experience.
- Highly organised, with strong operational discipline and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing visual merchandising, stock control and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English; confident interacting with high-net-worth clientele and bespoke service environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven with a sense of ownership and pride in delivering excellence.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and occasionally outside standard hours as needed in a retail/consultation environment.
