Job Description
IT Specialist

 

Job Functions:
-Take incoming calls from customers and monitor tech support emails requesting technical service.  
-Gather information about the problem and create a service ticket
-Consult the technical services manager when input is needed on scheduling service appointments.  
-Open service tickets for each request and review tickets for outstanding work required.
-Attend technical service and project meetings as needed
-Assist with employee computer problems
-Establish document hardware inventory procedures 

-Work with Active directory and domain changes, involved in AD migration

-Assist in Office 2016 roll-out

-Assist in Windows 10 roll-out

-Any other special projects that may be assigned



Skills, Knowledge required:  

-Systems and Networking experience a strong plus
-Excellent computer skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co workers and management
-Team player
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Working knowledge of help desk and managed services
-Ability to research and learn new software
-Excellent technical writing skills
-Ability to work through stressful situations while maintaining positive and professional attitude.
-Honest and dependable
