About the Role

We are seeking ambitious and high-performing Engineer to join our client's team across Dublin's key generation facilities. These stations are critical to the national electricity network and are managed to strict efficiency, safety, and environmental standards within a highly competitive energy market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plants and personnel on site.
  • Monitor, test, and operate plant equipment in line with operational requirements.
  • Support daily operations, maintaining shift records and submitting reports as required.
  • Operate and maintain power plants to meet safety, environmental, chemical, and commercial standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures and systems for plant operations and testing.
  • Contribute to front-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and outage activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental obligations.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • 2+ years' experience in process or operations.
  • Strong ability to analyse, process, and control information to respond to plant conditions.
  • Flexibility and availability to provide shift cover when required.

Desirable:

  • Full B Category driving licence.
  • A craft qualification in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Fitting.
  • Relevant CSCS tickets and qualifications.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Experience supervising or supporting contractors.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance / Operations Management Systems.
