Our Client, a globally leading EPC is looking for a Cost Engineer to join their team on a contract basis based in the Farnborough office.

* Initial 12 month contract (could be 3 years)

* Outside IR35

* Hybrid working

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Review and validate and cost / planning information from various EPCM contractors to support the roll up of reporting information to the end-client. Each cost or planning engineer will be expected to challenge the EPCM Contractors and make recommendations for actions by the Contractors or interventions by the end-Client.

* Develop and implement a project controls plan

* Plan and organize the setup of project baseline

* Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline

* Providing technical and administrative direction, coordination

* Coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists

* Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan

* Manage the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management

* Lead the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling activities

* Lead the project control team

* Coordinate internal and external audits
