Plant Fitter

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of access equipment solutions, seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Fitter to join their team.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of scissor lifts and boom lifts, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. The role includes both workshop-based work and on-site support, playing a key role in delivering high standards of service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose, service, and repair faults on powered access equipment (own fleet and third-party)

* Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and LOLER examinations

* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and refurbishments

* Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site support when required

* Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards

About You

* Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Powered Access Engineer, or similar role

* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

* IPAF CAP Licence (preferred)

* Full UK driving licence

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Customer-focused with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
