£31,296 + 30% shift allowance (£40,650 OTE)
4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Here's the honest bit:
Straightening isn't glamorous and the shifts are long. But you'll work with good kit, a supportive team, and you'll always know exactly what's expected of you.

What you'll be doing

Straightening material using proven methods (you'll get structured training)
Loading/unloading using overhead cranes, FLTs, sideloaders and band saws
Making adjustments, checks and inspections to keep quality high
Supporting the Heat Treatment charging process
Keeping the workspace safe, clean and organised
Getting involved in 5S, problem-solving and improvement sessionsIt's steady, hands-on work where you can genuinely take pride in getting things right.

What you'll need
You don't need a list of fancy qualifications. What matters is:

Experience with cranes, FLTs or similar industrial machinery
A good understanding of safety and quality
Someone who turns up on time, does things properly and takes ownership
A willingness to follow procedures and suggest improvements
Pride in your work and your workspaceIf you've worked in Heat Treatment, heavy engineering or metal processing, that'll help - but it's not essential.
