Sewell Wallis is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Client Accountant to join a well-established Accountancy Practice based in central Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This is a full-time, office-based role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Client Accountant to take ownership of their own client portfolio while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

What will you be doing?

Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assist with the onboarding of new clients
Work closely with the leadership team to support business growth
Perform general bookkeeping duties
Prepare corporate and personal tax returns
Submit and review VAT returns
Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
Manage client relationships and respond to queriesWhat skills are we looking for?

ACCA / ACA / AAT qualified or part-qualified
Previous experience in an accountancy practice managing a portfolio of clients
Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks is advantageous
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and client service skillsWhat's on Offer?
