Adecco Sheffield is currently hiring permanent Welder/Plater. This role is a full-time position, with work scheduled from Monday to Friday on alternate shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights, with shift-related salary increments.

Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the department and the broader business goals.
Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the ISO Quality manual.
Choose and employ suitable tools, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the assigned tasks.
Operate welding equipment, such as gases, scissor lifts, G-clamps, cranes, jibs, strops, pallet trolleys, grinders, sanders, hand drills, and more, while adhering to safe working practices.
Select, lay out, and construct metal weldments and assemblies.
Continually inspect work to maintain welding quality.
Ensure that completed welding operations, including necessary grinding, meet the company's established standards.
Consistently uphold the 5S standard within your work area.
Successfully complete product welding within specified timeframes.
Care for tools, materials, and equipment in the appropriate manner.
Maintain records as per the company's procedures.
Undertake any additional duties within your skillset and training as required by the company.
