Position: Learning Support Worker (Full-Time)
Location: Specialist SEN School, Bolton
Contract: ADHOCK-CONTRACT IF WANTED
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term-time only)
Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role:

Value Education is seeking a confident and resilient Learning Support Worker to join a welcoming SEN school in Bolton, supporting children with Autism (ASC), PMLD, and complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, following EHCPs and IEPs.
✔ Use sensory strategies, PECS, or Makaton to aid communication.
✔ Assist with personal care and mobility needs (where required).
✔ Work closely with teachers and therapists to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
✔ Manage challenging behaviours with patience and resilience.

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Experience supporting children or adults with SEN, ASC, or PMLD (in schools, care, or similar settings).
✅ Team Teach trained (desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate).
✅ Confident, adaptable, and compassionate - able to build trust with pupils.
✅ Available full-time from June 2nd until end of summer term.
