Robert Walters - Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - Birmingham - £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of monthly reporting, financial analysis, and cost control. Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

• Prepare and present insightful financial reports to budget holders and senior management.

• Drive improvements in financial reporting and processes across the business.

• Monitor and analyse business performance against budget and forecast.

• Provide finance business partnering support to operational teams.

• Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries in line with reporting deadlines.

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and business partnering experience

• Confident user of Excel and ERP systems
