About the Role

Ready to take the next step in your architectural career? An opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join a well-established and growing architectural consultancy based in the South West.

This role is ideally suited to someone at an intermediate level with solid technical experience who is confident taking responsibility for their work and keen to progress towards a more senior position.

You will have opportunities to be involved in client meetings, producing quotes, chairing meetings, and contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of projects.

With the support and guidance of experienced senior colleagues, the role offers genuine scope for progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Business

The studio is a bespoke, professional, and client-focused architectural consultancy with many years’ experience delivering high-quality technical and design-led solutions. It has developed a strong reputation for technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach, with a significant proportion of work coming from repeat clients and recommendations.

The practice works predominantly within the residential sector, delivering projects ranging from small domestic schemes and bespoke one-off homes to large-scale residential developments. In addition, the business enjoys varied work across other sectors and is involved in several commercial projects within the local area.

There is a strong focus on buildability, technical clarity, and seeing projects through from concept to completion. The team values high standards, clear communication, and pride in producing well-resolved drawings and documentation.

  • Proactive, accountable, and open to learning
  • Proud of producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Comfortable adapting when priorities change or project challenges arise
