Role Summary
EQ is seeking a Pensions Administrator to work within a new team responsible for delivering Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) services to its Clients and Customers. You should have prior experience in the pensions industry, ideally in the area of Bulk Purchase Annuities and/or Defined Benefit Pension Scheme Administration.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide, both buy in and buy out, administration services to customers, working to agreed targets
Putting the member experience at the heart of everything member transaction we lead upon
Interpreting and applying Trustee membership movements to the insured population during buy in administration
To complete / check casework and provide feedback
Resolving customer enquiries (oral and written)
Collating and escalating Trustee and client enquiries (oral and written)
Drafting of non-standard correspondence in response to customer and client enquiries
Collating and analysing data and produces routine reports
Performing and issuing pension calculations including manual calculations
Checking and reviewing Trustee's pension calculation during buy in administration
Carrying out projects and ad-hoc activities, as determined by your Team Leader
