The Role
Are you a recent graduate ready to apply your Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree to real-world energy projects? Do you want to develop specialist skills in designing high-voltage substations that power homes, businesses, and renewable energy systems across the UK?
We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team and grow into a specialist in EHV/HV substation design. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands-on project experience from day one, and receive structured training to build your expertise in substations from 11kV to 132kV.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of substations for transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and storage projects.
- Support feasibility studies, technical specifications, and design reviews.
- Prepare scheme drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver safe and high-quality solutions.
- Take part in ongoing mentoring and professional development.

The Person
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Strong interest in power systems and substation design
- Clear communication skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
- IT literate with familiarity in engineering software
- Eligible to work in the UK, fluent in English, and hold a full UK driving licence
