Assembly Operative required for our client based in Huthwaite, NG17
Assembly Operative Benefits:
- Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm & Friday 07:30am - 3pm
- Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: Monday 22nd September 2025
- Pay Rates: £13.23 per hour
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent
- Location: Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17
Assembly Operative Duties:
- Building and assembling panel doors and mirrored doors for Wardrobes
- Working on a bench area
- Using hand tools
- Quality checking of materials and finished products
- Packing and taping items
- Working with wood, panels and mirrors
- Following instructions
- Manual handling large items
- General Housekeeping
- Working on your own and as part of a team
- Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
- There is potential for this role to progress into a charge-hand in the future
Assembly Operative Criteria:
- Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
- Hard working, reliable and punctual
- Experience of operating and using hand tools
- Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
