Our client is a successful retail chain with over 100 stores across the UK and they are now looking to recruit a commercially minded Financial Controller to be the bumber one finance person for the business.

This is a highly varied role where you will work closely with the Board on strategy and commercial planning as well as overseeing the finance team. Invoice processing has been outsourced overseas so the main focus for the finane team is producing monthly management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and producing meaningful MI across the business.

There is clear scope for progression to become FD as the business continues to grow so we are looking for a commercially minded qualified accountant who would ideally have some experience within the retail sector. Interviews are ongoing so apply now
