Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Birmingham primary schools? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting passionate individuals to support EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils across a range of welcoming and diverse primary settings.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, adaptable Teaching Assistants who can support children's learning, provide classroom assistance, and help create a positive, inclusive environment. As a supply TA with Tradewind, you'll enjoy the freedom to choose when and where you work while gaining experience across a variety of schools.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Providing one-to-one or small group support
Assisting with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
Helping maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
Supporting children with additional needs where required

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children (school, nursery or childcare settings desirable)
A calm, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Flexibility to work across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
