Design & Development Engineer - Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Design & Development Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves the research, design, and development of new products, processes, and tooling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD systems, particularly SolidWorks.
Day to Day of the Role: - Research and develop new designs, processes, tooling, jigs, and assembly.
- Maintain and document changes to designs and drawings of products, processes, software, and hardware.
- Adhere to the engineering design change request process.
- Conduct testing for research and development of products and processes.
- Maintain and calibrate gauge, measuring equipment, and other special equipment, including weight counting equipment.
- Perform product testing, measuring, and inspection in line with company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Degree in Design or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in using CAD systems, with SolidWorks experience being highly beneficial.
- Strong mathematical ability and creative problem-solving skills.
- Quantitative skills, common sense, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Good comprehension of written and spoken English.
