Join Our Team as a One-to-One Learning Support Assistant
Primary School is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a statemented child in Year 2. This is a rewarding Full time position from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm. Please note that this is a fixed-term contract linked to the child and operates during term time only.

Key Requirements: The successful applicant will:

Have experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence, and initiative.
Be an effective communicator with pupils and staff.
Possess competency in ICT and have knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum in a primary school.
Hold at least an A* - C (9-4) pass in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration.Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to:

Work under direct supervision by class teachers and use initiative to organize activities and tasks.
Contribute to creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment.
Collaborate with other teaching assistants.
Encourage independence and promote self-confidence.
Support the class teacher in planning differentiated work for the pupil.
Create simple resources to support the pupil's work, as appropriate.APPLY NOW!
