What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in supporting the financial operations of our client's business. You will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, preparing monthly MI packs, managing staff cost analysis, and ensuring the timely production of all management accounts. Your ability to analyse financial data will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues as well as explaining any variances from budget or forecast. Furthermore, you will lead and deliver SG&A overheads reviews with key business partners.

  • Provide month end reporting & analysis
  • Support and prepare the Monthly MI pack for 3 legal entities, along with providing key financial insights
  • Ownership of staff costs analysis including head count and variance analysis to budget
  • Produce timely & accurate production of all management accounts and monthly reporting (local & group) to all agreed formats and timetables.
  • Analyse financial data to identify and resolve any issues and explain variances from budget or forecast
  • Lead & deliver SG&A overheads reviews with key business partners

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. You should hold qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA/ACA, coupled with at least 3-4 years of post-qualification experience. Your background should demonstrate strong hands-on experience with accounting transactions, management accounts, and reporting. Excellent people management skills are essential for this role as you will be leading a team. Additionally, your excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills will enable you to effectively liaise with stakeholders at various levels within the organisation.

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • +3/4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Strong hands-on experience with accounting transactions, management accounts, and reporting.
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
