We are a leading recruitment agency, working with a charity dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. They are now seeking a passionate Property Portfolio Manager to join their Business Development department in Bath.
Role Overview:
As a Property Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing the charity's property portfolio to provide high-quality supported accommodation. This position involves frequent travel, hence a valid UK driving licence and access to personal transport are essential.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Lead the search and acquisition of new properties, aligning with the service needs and responding swiftly to avoid service disruptions.
Negotiate favourable leasing contracts that reflect Local Housing Allowance and ensure terms like break clauses and maintenance responsibilities are advantageous.
Conduct market research to support bid development for new accommodation-based services.
Collaborate with various teams including IT, Finance, Fundraising, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure seamless on-boarding, off-boarding, and development of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (business insurance required).
Proven relationship-building and management skills, with experience in managing landlord relationships and arranging remedial actions.
In-depth knowledge of the housing sector with a successful track record in securing properties through leasing and purchase.
