A leading global engineering consultancy working in the renewable and clean energy sector is seeking multiple Process Engineers to join its fast-growing team in the North West of England. These roles offer a chance to contribute to impactful, future-focused infrastructure projects across water and wastewater treatment.

We are looking for engineers who can lead or support the technical delivery of complex design projects, manage budgets and deadlines, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to the production, verification, and approval of process deliverables including raw water envelope assessments, influent characterisations, performance reports, outline designs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment specifications, process control philosophies, and technical reports

Deliver technical process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure

Provide process optimisation and advisory input across new and existing assets

Act as Process Design Lead on multi-disciplinary projects where required

Apply and help develop digital design methodologies and tools

Identify innovative and efficient technical solutions in alignment with client goals

Collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners including global colleagues and supply chain collaborators

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant technical subject (postgraduate qualifications desirable)

Chartered or actively working towards chartered status

3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience

Strong background in the water and/or wastewater treatment sectors

Membership of a professional institution (e.g. IChemE or CIWEM) or close to application

Eligibility to work in the UK
