Children's Home Manager - Thamesmead
Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children's residential care? Do you have the drive and resilience to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people? If so, we want to hear from you.
We are seeking a Children's Home Manager to lead our residential service for children and young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and/or a history of mental health challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality, child-centred service in a supportive and ambitious organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, promoting a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Oversee the daily operations of the home and ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Drive continuous improvement with a focus on achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes.
Manage budgets effectively while maintaining a focus on quality care.
Support, supervise, and develop team members to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic individual who is committed to excellence in care and outcomes.
You will need:
Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential childcare setting (within the last 5 years).
At least 1 year of experience supervising or managing professional care staff.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, Registered Manager's Award, or equivalent relevant qualification.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks.
Passion, resilience, and a drive to make a lasting difference in children's lives.
