At Protocol Education we are currently looking for a resilient and enthusiastic SEMH/ Behaviour for Learning to work full time at a well established SEMH school across West Yorkshire.

We have developed a fantastic reputation in the local area, and we're looking for more high-quality Behaviour for Learning to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

This school is a specialist academy that provides the best possible care for children and young people with SEMH needs. You will be working with students between the ages of 5 years old to 16 years of age.

About the role:

Our Behaviour for Learning duties can include:

Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
Prepare classrooms prior to lessons; they also clean up afterwards.
Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the development requirement of children.
Organise and supervise pupils during project and sporting activities.
 The ideal applicant will have:

Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals.
Active listening skills
Be able to create and maintain strong relationships with students
Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
Understanding and sensitivity towards children
Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class
