Business Project Manager
Driving strategic transformation across the UK & EuropeLocation: Northampton / Hybrid
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business entering a new era of growth and innovation. As the Business Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the organisation operates, delivers for its customers, and builds the systems and structures needed for long-term success.
You’ll lead strategic transformation programmes that improve performance, increase efficiency, and embed new ways of working across multiple regions. This is a high-visibility role with real influence - perfect for someone who thrives on delivering meaningful change and wants to make a tangible impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation projects
- Building clear project plans, managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines
- Using structured governance, reporting, and workstream management to drive progress
- Transitioning project outputs into the business using effective change management
- Driving operational improvements through TQM, Lean and continuous-improvement principles
- Analysing current processes to identify optimisation opportunities
- Designing customer-centric solutions with long-term benefits
- Establishing KPIs, dashboards, and governance frameworks
- Supporting deployment of PPM tools across a £60m sales channel serving Tier 1 logistics clients
- Working closely with teams across operations, IT, finance, commercial, design services, and customer service
- Coaching junior Project Managers and helping build PPM capability across the business
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience delivering business transformation in small to mid-sized organisations
- Strong understanding of the UK, European, and North American markets
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience embedding methodologies such as TQM, Lean, or continuous improvement
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to design scalable operational solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with MS Project, MS Planner, and PPM platforms
- Strong capability in risk management, governance, and reporting
- Industry background in supply chain, logistics, or operations is highly desirable
- Professional qualifications (PRINCE2, APM, PMP) are an advantage
- Knowledge of change management principles such as ADKAR
- Experience supporting large or multi-million-pound transformation programmes
