As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either within the classroom setting or in a dedicated resourced provision. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support that helps pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN

Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

Support classroom teachers with differentiation and behaviour management

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students

Help track and report on pupil progress
The ideal candidate will:

Have prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally in a secondary school setting

Be compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting young people

Have a good understanding of SEN and the strategies to support these pupils effectively

Be adaptable and confident working across different subjects and year groups
