As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either within the classroom setting or in a dedicated resourced provision. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support that helps pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN

• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

• Support classroom teachers with differentiation and behaviour management

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students

• Help track and report on pupil progress

The ideal candidate will:

• Have prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally in a secondary school setting

• Be compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting young people

• Have a good understanding of SEN and the strategies to support these pupils effectively

• Be adaptable and confident working across different subjects and year groups
