We are currently recruiting for an experienced Import & Export Air Freight Operator to join a busy and established freight forwarding team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

This role is ideal for someone with strong end-to-end air freight experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and familiar with Cargowise

• Handling air freight import and export shipments end-to-end
• Creating and processing documentation (HAWB, MAWB, customs entries where required)
• Booking shipments with airlines and handling agents
• Liaising with overseas agents, customers, and airlines
• Monitoring shipments and providing proactive updates
• Completing entries and maintaining accurate records in CargoWise
• Ensuring all compliance and security procedures are followed

• Proven experience in air freight imports and exports
• Strong working knowledge of CargoWise
• Ability to manage shipments from start to finish independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment
• Must be able to pass a full 5-year employment and referencing check

• 9-month fixed-term contract
• Monday to Friday working hours
• Two shift options: 08:00 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:30
