Pertemps Education is recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in the Wandsworth area of South West London. This is a full time temporary position, working from Monday to Friday during term time only. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be working with primary and secondary aged children, with a variety of special needs including ASD, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties. The hours of work are 8.30am to 4.00pm. This is for an immediate start, but we can also accomodate those available in September 2025. 

The school is located in a residential, leafy part of Wandsworth and is easily accessed by public transport. There is also both on and off street parking available. This is a large special needs school catering for a wide variety of needs. It is an outstanding school, with a strong and supportive leadershiop team. Regular school trips are taken during the week, including outdoor activity centres and trips to the local farm. The school itself has a bright and colourful feel with multi-sensory equipment across the board. 

Within the role, some personal care is required, and the ideal SEN TA would have prior experience working in a special needs environment. This experience can be with adults or children.
