Higher Level Teaching Assistant - NG31

Location: NG31 (Grantham)
Day Rate: £110-£125 per day
Contract: Fixed Term - Academic Year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm
Start Date: September 2025

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join An outstanding primary school in the NG31 area. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils' learning and development.

The Role:

Deliver planned lessons and interventions across a range of year groups
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional progress
Lead small group and whole-class activities in the teacher's absence
Work closely with teaching staff to create engaging and inclusive learning opportunities
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to classroom organisation, displays, and resource preparation

The Ideal Candidate:

Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification
Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school
Confident in leading whole-class sessions and managing behaviour positively
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing
