An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Newly Qualified or Junior Property Lawyer (0-2 years PQE) to join a busy and well-established Commercial and Residential Property team in Andover. The property team advises investment groups, high-net-worth individuals, local businesses, and long-standing private clients, offering a breadth of expertise in both residential and commercial transactions.

The Role
Working directly with the Head of Department, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of property matters including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Lending and re-finance (personal and corporate)
  • Overage, clawback, and development agreements
  • Property aspects of corporate transactions
  • Agricultural property
  • Plot sales
  • Lease extensions and leasehold enfranchisement


The role offers high levels of client contact and hands-on responsibility from the outset, making it an excellent platform for career development.

Candidate Profile
Applicants should:

  • Be newly qualified or have up to 2 years' PQE in property law
  • Have completed at least one seat in property (commercial or residential) during their training contract
  • Have trained at a recognised law firm
  • Possess excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Be commercially aware and confident dealing with clients directly
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and business development skills
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to the continued growth of the practice
