Your Role

*

Deliver engaging and structured DT lessons from KS3 to KS4, with Sixth Form experience possible over time

*

Plan practical projects that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and design thinking

*

Make full use of digital design, CAD, CAM, and robotics in project work

*

Collaborate with STEM colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school showcases

*

Contribute to department displays, co-curricular events, and student competitions

Ideal Candidate

*

DT or Engineering-related degree (e.g., Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering)

*

PGCE/SCITT trainee due to receive QTS by July 2025

*

Strong interest in using new technologies in the workshop and classroom

*

Eager to learn, innovate, and develop your practice in a supportive team

*

Willing to engage with students beyond the classroom through STEM clubs and competitions
