QC Analyst - Raw Materials - Pharma - Contract

Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting the Quality Control (QC) Raw Materials function within a GMP-regulated environment. The successful candidate will perform a range of testing, documentation, and compliance activities to ensure the quality and suitability of materials for use in manufacturing processes. They will also help maintain high standards of work across the department and support more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out raw material testing and review data in line with GMP standards and internal procedures.

Approve and release raw materials for use once specifications are met.

*

Support the completion of quality documentation including deviations, CAPAs, investigations, change controls, protocols, reports, and SOPs.

*

Review and interpret analytical results, escalating concerns to QC management as needed.

*

Approve work and data generated by colleagues, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

*

Maintain a safe and compliant working environment by following relevant health and safety procedures.

Identify and suggest improvements to enhance compliance, efficiency, and safety.

*

Manage personal workload and timelines effectively with general guidance.

*

Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff to uphold department standards.

*

Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

Experience with a range of chemical and/or biochemical analytical techniques.
