We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the NG6 area. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting on 13th April and running until 24th July, suitable for teachers on the Main Pay Scale (M1-M6).

The Role

You will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire and support pupils of all abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 desirable)

Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
