Our client in Edinburgh is offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing, energetic team where you’ll be supported in your development and progression.
Your Role and Impact As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting financial advisers by:
- Delivering high-quality technical support to ensure clients receive maximum value.
- Drafting clear, client-focused communications and bespoke financial plans.
- Gathering and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data using advanced tools to produce compliant, tailored financial strategies.
- Contributing to the enhancement of centralised, cost-effective propositions and participating in engaging project work.
Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with advisers to understand client goals and objectives.
- Analyse client documentation including fact finds and meeting notes.
- Source accurate data to support financial projections.
- Create detailed financial plans in line with company standards.
- Use financial software to generate precise projections.
- Prepare thoroughly for client meetings, ensuring advice is aligned with their needs.
- Support advisers during client presentations and respond to technical queries.
- Produce polished reports following planning meetings.
- Liaise with product providers and third parties.
- Stay informed on regulatory updates and market trends.
What You’ll Bring - Previous experience in a paraplanning role.
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards it).
- Ideally familiar with tools such as Cashflow Modelling Software, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Dynamic Planner, and various provider platforms.
