Drama Teachers

Pay : £31,650 - 49084

Location : Trowbridge

I am looking for a fun and engaging Drama Teacher to teach in a secondary school, located in Bath. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons that develop critical thinking , engage students and encourage them to take part. Standards of behaviour so good classroom management is a must.

The role starts in September as a permanent position. The role would suit a teacher with a genuine passion for the drama who can create stimulating lessons that make students want to join in as much as possible.

Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Encourage participation in classes.

• Foster an exciting and secure environment of learning.

• Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly

• Work collaboratively with the Drama and Music department as well as wider staff.

Requirements :

• QTS, though not essential

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working in secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
