You'll take the lead on a wide variety of design work - from new-build care homes to refurbishments and extensions for a well-known national retail chain. It's a diverse portfolio that will challenge and grow your engineering skills every day.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading structural design on a mix of building types using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
Conducting structural surveys and producing clear, concise reports
Preparing fee proposals and assisting with project costing
Providing input on insurance claims and technical assessments
Checking designs and supporting junior engineers
Working closely with architects, clients, and other professionals

About You:

Degree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
Chartered or on track for Chartership
Strong practical design experience across major materials
Skilled in using structural design software (Tekla, AutoCAD, SCIA; Tedds and Finite Element software a plus)
Confident communicator and collaborative team player
Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
