Job Title: Plating Operative

Location: HytheContract: PermanentSalary: £24,761 (rising to £25,775 from 1st April)Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday finish at 1:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• To electroplate components by preparing jigs with the parts and then sending through the appropriate electrochemical process.
• To run components through the chemistry process ensuring that regular checks are made.
• To make any additions to the chemicals as required.
• To rinse and dry all components.
• To ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Ensure the processes and other equipment are used in a safe and reliable manner whilst maintaining optimum production levels.

What We’re Looking For

• If you have previous electroplating experience or COSHH / chemistry knowledge, this would be ideal for this role.
• However, full training will be provided so previous experience in manufacturing, production, factory or warehouse is also ideal.
