HIU Engineer - North London
Example Recruitment Group Ltd is looking for an experienced HIU Engineer to join a leading national compliance and energy services provider across North London. Work with a well-established contractor in social housing, delivering heating and energy services with excellent job security and career growth.
The Role
As an HIU Engineer, you will:

Commission, service, maintain, and fault-find Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
*
Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
*
Produce accurate site reports via PDA
*
Deliver a professional and courteous service to residents and clients
*
Participate in training from manufacturers and internal programs
*
Follow health & safety standards at all times
*
Travel occasionally or work short periods away from home
Customer service skills are essential as you will be working in occupied properties.
Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
*
OTE: Up to £60,000 including overtime & call-out
*
Working Hours: 45 hours/week, Monday-Friday (8am-6pm), 1-in-4 call-out rota

Requirements
Essential:
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
*
Previous plumbing/heating experience
*
Strong customer service and communication skills
*
Teamwork and time management abilities
Desirable:
*
NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating
*
Experience with Heat Networks and HIU commissioning, servicing & repairs
*
Interest in low-carbon or energy-efficient technologies
