We are seeking dedicated Moffett Forklift drivers for our client in the PE2 Area.

A Valid Moffett Forklift Licence is required

4on 4off

Day shift - 05:00AM-17:00PM

Responsibilities

* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.

* Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations.

* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.

* Perform basic maths calculations for inventory management and stocktaking purposes.

* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.

* Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are clean and free from hazards.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.

* Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic inventory control processes.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs as needed.

* Excellent skills in materials handling, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

* Ability to lift heavy loads safely, demonstrating physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing or moving.

* A valid forklift operator's licence is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
