Urgently seeking an experienced Education Programme Administrator. 

Temporary Education Programme Coordinator
  • Location: East London
  • Job Type: Full-time - Onsite based 

We are seeking an experienced Education Programme Coordinator to join the Education Team. This role is pivotal in providing a highly professional and efficient service to ensure the successful delivery of all undergraduate programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and the Teaching and Learning Manager, ensuring a top-tier student experience.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Programme Management:

    • Respond to student enquiries promptly, providing high levels of service and advice.
    • Develop and coordinate updates for modules using the virtual learning environment (QMplus).
    • Assist in the production of student handbooks and provide expert knowledge on Academic Regulations.
    • Serve as committee secretary for the School’s Teaching and Learning Committee, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with university policies.
  • Assessment:

    • Implement and maintain school policy regarding examinations and assessments in line with the Queen Mary Academic Regulations.
    • Act as the first point of contact for all undergraduate assessment queries, managing issues that arise during the assessment process.
    • Provide support to students on assessment deadlines and procedures.
    • Engage with the Disability and Dyslexia Service to ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in education programme coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of academic regulations and their application.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams.
  • Experience with virtual learning environments and student information systems.
