Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Halewood to recruit an Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced TA or educator who is passionate about providing targeted support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
The role focuses on delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups and individual pupils across KS1 and KS2, supporting progress and boosting confidence.

The Role
As an Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Deliver structured interventions to pupils working below age-related expectations
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to assess needs and track progress
- Adapt resources and approaches to suit individual learning styles
- Support pupils both within and outside the classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have recent experience delivering interventions in a primary school setting
- Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths
- Be confident working with small groups and one-to-one
- Be organised, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Teaching Personnel
