About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee a portfolio of small works and commercial refurbishment projects across Cardiff, Newport, and the surrounding South Wales Valleys.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality projects across commercial, retail, education, and public sector environments. You will typically manage 3-4 live schemes at any one time, ensuring delivery on programme, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee multiple small works and commercial refurbishment projects simultaneously (3-4 at a time)

* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery

* Manage programmes, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation

* Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company procedures

* Maintain strong client relationships and attend regular progress meetings

* Identify and mitigate project risks

* Report directly to the Contracts Director on performance and progress

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager, or similar role

* Strong background in small works and commercial refurbishments

* Experience managing multiple projects concurrently

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid qualifications

* Full UK driving licence
